Home from Dallas!!So yes…got to go see the site where JFK was shot, see real, honest-to-goodness cowboys at work, and attend my first Renaissance Fair!! And chat a lot about writing, agent woes and books with Kat!

Also, I got to see Star Trek Friday night…it is such a fun, exciting and uplifting movie!! Plus, Spock rocks!
So yes…I had such a great vacation in Dallas!!
In other news, this Saturday is my birthday. Not sure yet what the plans for that is (although a positive response from an agent would be an excellent gift!
) I think watching Star Trek with my sis is part of the plans! Whoo hoo!!

Oh yes! Star Trek was awesome! Actually, I knew nothing at all about the original show going in, but it was such a fun movie! Have you seen it yet?

I DID!!! The Cowgirl Museum was so very,. very small, but I bought a silly shirt there! I need to email them for a contact for Diamond-related stuff, but the museum was, seriously, a 10 minute affair! YES!! I did get the cowboy boots! And they are SEXY! Aaaaaah, they are too awesome!
Ooooooh, yeah! Chatting with another writer was such a great part of tbe vacation! Have you read Kat's book? Too much fun!
And yeah...it was a perfect getaway. I need to get to Cleveland, though, I realize...perhaps some day! I really need to focus on traveling outside the US again though!

My only hangup is why Nero's ship was laid out with all of those crazy platforms, other than the self-serving ability to have guys jump in slow-mo from them.
Spock was way cool and pimp.
