My next vacation!!

Hey guys, I think I figured out where I’m going to go on my next vacation. I’ll give you a hint:

That’s right! I might be going to…
PARIS!!!

I still need to see if the trip is doable money-wise. I am going to go on some pretty awesome tours, too!! To places outside of Paris, like Versailles, Normandy (D-Day beaches!), Belgium, the Somme (WWI battle site) and to see some castles. As for Paris, I am going to sign up for a chauffeured trip around the city as well as a night cruise down the Seine, then to a show at the Moulin Rouge! The actual Moulin Rouge!! Then I’ll spend the rest of my days in Paris, um, SHOPPING!!

Anyways, that’s what I’m thinking of doing!

Has anyone ever been to Paris/France before (Jo, I’m looking in your direction!)….or live there? Can you offer me any advice on things to do, etc.?

Amazingly talented artists and very good friends!

That would be awesome! Chris and I totally want to hit up the south of France, though it would mean a lot to both of us to go to Vimy Ridge. His uncle fought at Vimy and the Somme.

South of France! You might want to visit Mont Saint Michael! It's that freaking fantastic island that you could walk across the river at a certain time - just Google it - it'll be great <3 <3

A lot of the well-known landmarks are within walking distance. On foot you can cover Notre Dame, the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, the Jardin de Tuileries, and the Eiffel Tower in a day.

You might want to check and see if the Louvre is still closed on Tuesdays. (Guess who found out the hard way?)
